WHAT TO EXPECT:
This adventure will retrace the journey that once connected Old Sydney Town to the first colonial farms at Parramatta.
We begin with a short exploration of The Rocks. Here we’ll discuss the early struggles of the starving settlement & the unlikely convict farmer who saved the day!
Now it’s time to voyage up river. Gliding past hidden coves, tiny islands & historic ferry stops, we’ll gradually reach the point where Sydney’s salt & fresh waters meet.
It’s time for lunch, but our restaurant is not found in the modern CBD of Parramatta. Our unique venue lies in the peaceful grounds of a world heritage site: Old Government House.
After eating, exploring & storytelling our way through this historic park setting, we’ll ferry back to Sydney & enjoy stunning harbour bridge views along the way!
