LORD NELSON LUNCH, CRAFT BEER & HISTORY TOUR OF MILLERS POINT
A TOUR OF TALES & TASTES
Discover the secret life of Sydney’s oldest pubs on a private experience that blends hops, history & hearty helpings. Enjoy two craft beers, a classic pub lunch and a host of incredible crime stories and secrets about the sea-faring pub life of Millers Point and Walsh Bay over the last two centuries.
DESCRIPTION:
Exploring the many faces of the murky maritime village of Millers Point, this private tour features hearty Australian food, craft beer (from an onsite brewery) and sensational Sydney stories to create a unique historical odyssey. Our tour will explore the best of Miller’s Point, Walsh Bay, Dawes Point & Observatory Hill.
MEETING PLACE DETAILS:
Meet your guide in front of Cadman’s Cottage, The Rocks at 11.00am.
INCLUSIONS:
A delicious pub lunch & pint of craft beer is included at our mid-tour-stop inside the iconic LORD NELSON HOTEL & BREWERY. This infamous historic pub in the heart Miller’s Point has been serving scallywags since 1842 and thankfully not much has changed since the early days. We’ll also be stopping into the equally historic HERO OF WATERLOO PUB for another beer inclusion after a waterside wander along Walsh Bay.
FOR LUNCH:
The Lord Nelson’s chunky Beef Pie with mushy peas, mashed potato & pub gravy: A genuine Aussie classic. Once combined with a Pint of the Nelson’s award winning Three Sheets Pale Ale you’ll realise why the saying “Thank the Lord” holds new meaning in this part of Sydney. Vegetarian options and meals of equal value available as well.
