A two hour walking tour of Sydney’s historical district in The Rocks — looking at the earliest settlement of prisoners arriving in the late 18th Century, the colonial development of ‘Old Sydney Town’ as the Gold Rush began in the middle of the 19th Century and the birth of our contemporary city in the 20th Century with the construction of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
A break for lunch with local recommendations around The Rocks area (1 hour)
1pm – 2.30 / 3pm :
A walking tour of the greater city including the Botanical Gardens, the Art Gallery of NSW, Colonial structures on Macquarie St, Hyde Park and finishing next to the Queen Victoria Building at Town Hall in the centre of the city.
TOTAL COST: $400 AUD for the 2 part / half day walking tours.
