This tour will visit three unique & tucked away venues to enjoy a VIP reservation, signature cocktails (our theme is rum) and local crime stories.
The Glenmore in The Rocks has been an Aussie icon since 1921, boasting one of the best rooftop bars in the city with stellar views of Sydney Harbour. Tucked away on the middle level is its classic 1920s Hollywood- inspired cocktail bar. Full of style and sophistication, this is where we will begin our evening of rum-riddled tales.

Recapturing the convivial spirit of Sydney’s formative years, The Doss House unites fine whiskies, spirits & cocktails with the historical charm of one of the city’s oldest suburbs, The Rocks. Built in the 1840s, this space has been the home to a rich, eclectic collection of tenants including a boot maker, boarding house, doctor’s surgery & opium dealer.

WHERE: Taking place in The Rocks and Circular Quay. We will visit three unique venues with more tour stops and stories in between.
WHAT: Tales of debauchery, notorious convict crimes, shocking Sydney murders, spirit smugglers, people smugglers, local legends, backstreet gangsters and the little known history of RUM and its infamous influence on Sydney.
WHEN: This tour is scheduled on a request basis : please let us know a date that works for you. We generally recommend starting between 2.00-4.00pm (subject to availability and bar reservations).
GROUP SIZE: This tour is designed for private groups of 4 – 8 people (must be of the same party). However we can also arrange exclusive experiences for of 2-3 people charged at a fixed rate (see cost structure below). Please contact to customise a tour to your group.
