BYRON TO BANGALOW TOUR DETAILS:
WHAT: This is a private tour experience that runs for approximately 3.5 hours for groups of 2-3 guests (minimum of 2 people per booking). It involves exploring two locations on a round trip that begins and ends in Byron Bay.
HOW: Private transport in a comfortable C-Class Mercedes Sedan ensures a smooth air-conditioned ride between locations so you can sit-back and get the most out of your experience.

WHEN: This tour can be organised for the morning or afternoon and tailored to the schedule of private groups. The tour experience is scheduled to run for approximately 3.5 hours: with an additional 3o min break in the middle for lunch in Bangalow if desired.
WHO: This experience is most suitable for 2-3 adults. It involves some steep stair cases and mixed topography on the Cape Byron lighthouse walk so a moderate level of fitness is required — however we can tailor the experience to a pace suits your group with rest stops along the way.

THE LAND BEHIND BYRON BAY
The Hinterland region was once known as the Big Scrub: it was comprised of a dense and ancient tropical rainforest: the rich ancestral home of the Arakwal and Bundjalung peoples for thousands of years.
It was also home to the mighty Red Cedar tree which first drew European settlers into area in the mid 19th century. As this highly coveted timber was all but logged away, the thick forests of the Big Scrub were gradually transformed by the pursuits of pastoralists — giving rise to the dairy farms, orchids, macadamia plantations and rustic wooden villages we know today. This tour will reveal the close historical connection between the Byron’s coastline and hinterland to maximise your experience of both locations.

- Opportunities for lunch, drinks and coffee will be available in Bangalow at various cafe’s, shops or bakeries, and we will have the opportunity for a drink at the Bangalow hotel, however this tour does not include food or refreshments in the ticket price.
